MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION Membership Type: Full Play Membership Start Date: Upon Registration Anniversary Date: Initially 365 days from the date of registration; thereafter, December 31 annually (the "Anniversary Date") Minimum Membership Term: 12 Months
Payments are due monthly, commencing on the registration/renewal date and continuing until the next Anniversary Date.
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL NOTICE This membership will automatically renew unless terminated in accordance with the terms set out in Section 16 – Termination by Member.
CONSENT TO ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION By signing below, I consent to receive electronic correspondence, including newsletters, membership updates, and promotional material, from Chilliwack Golf Club at the email address provided. I understand I may withdraw this consent at any time.
GENERAL TERMS By signing this Agreement, I confirm my intention to purchase a membership from Chilliwack Golf Club and agree to the terms outlined herein. I acknowledge that:
Monthly dues are payable via pre-authorized debit (PAD) or credit card (subject to a $125 administrative fee).
The membership renews automatically unless terminated according to these terms.
I have received, read, and understood a digital or printed copy of this Agreement, including these Terms and Conditions.
Dues are payable regardless of how frequently I use the Club’s facilities.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Invalid Provisions If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Member and the Club. No modifications will be valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
Default In the event of payment default, the Club may declare all future payments under this Agreement immediately due and payable.
Assignment The Club may assign this Agreement to a third party, provided the assignee assumes all obligations. The Member may not assign this Agreement or transfer their membership.
Changes to Facilities & Fees The Club may introduce new programs or facilities for an additional fee, update Club policies, and modify membership fees subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting. Updated dues take effect each January.
Service Charges A service charge of $50 plus applicable taxes will apply for any rejected payments. The Club may reprocess such payments via PAD, including applicable charges.
Membership Privileges Members in good standing are entitled to access all practice facilities, dining areas, the Golf Shop, locker rooms, club events, equipment fitting, and reciprocal rates at other clubs (fees may apply).
Charging Privileges Members may charge purchases to their Club account. Abuse or neglect may result in revocation of this privilege. Club purchases beyond monthly dues will be charged via PAD/credit card on the 10th business day of each month.
Late Fees Statements are issued by email on the 5th business day of each month. Full payment is due by the 10th business day. A 2.5% late fee applies to unpaid balances. Rejected payments result in suspension of charging privileges and facility access.
Food & Beverage Minimum From March to November, Members must meet a quarterly minimum spend of $150. Any shortfall will be charged at quarter-end. There is no minimum from December to February.
Payment Information Changes Members must provide at least 30 days’ written notice of any changes to their payment information.
Guest Privileges Members may bring guests and receive reduced green fees. Please inquire with the Golf Shop for details.
Waiver of Liability Use of Club facilities is at the Member’s sole risk. The Member affirms they are physically able to participate in physical activities. The Club, its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for injuries, property damage, or losses arising from facility use. The Member expressly waives all claims, including those arising from negligence.
Temporary Closures The Club may temporarily close due to weather, government orders, maintenance, or acts of God.
Termination by the Club The Club may terminate a membership due to violation of this Agreement or Club policies.
Termination by Member a. Term Memberships may only be terminated on the Anniversary Date with a minimum of 30 days’ written notice. If not terminated, the membership automatically renews. b. Notice of Cancellation must be provided by verifiable means (registered mail, email, or personal delivery). Verbal cancellations are not accepted. c. The Agreement is deemed fulfilled if 30 days have passed since written notice was given and all outstanding charges are paid.
Member Rejoining If rejoining, a reactivation fee applies, equal to the current monthly dues multiplied by the number of months since cancellation, subject to a maximum of the greater of $4,000 or the entrance fee in effect at the time of rejoining.
Change of Age Category Member categories will be automatically updated on the first day of the Member’s birth month.
Notice Delivery All formal notices under this Agreement must be in writing and sent by registered mail, email, or delivered in person to the address provided herein or such address as notified in writing.
I agree that my electronic signature is the legally binding equivalent, and has the same meaning, as my handwritten signature. I will not, at any time in the future, repudiate the meaning of my electronic signature or claim that my electronic signature is not legally binding.
Your application will be reviewed by a Management Representative and they will contact you directly with questions and next steps to activate your membership account. Price below indicates first month of membership. Please note that all prices below include 5% GST and 7% PST (if applicable).
